National wireless broadband carrier broadens footprint in Western Canada with its entry into another key market

Toronto, ON – March 7, 2007

Building on its success in key Canadian business centres, such as Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and the Greater Toronto Area, leading wireless broadband service provider TeraGo Networks Inc. today announced it has extended its national footprint into British Columbia, with a new sales and field service office based on Annacis Island.

Continuing its ongoing commitment to delivering customer-centric solutions, superior value and performance through its own quality IP network, TeraGo Networks will now offer business customers in Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna, true redundancy, scalability and reliability for all their Internet and Data communication needs. Unlike other large carriers, TeraGo Networks' high-speed "fibre-like" wireless system can go where others can't as the technology doesn't depend on cable or telephone company networks.

"We're very excited to be here offering new and existing business customers a choice for running their critical data and communication services," says Bryan Boyd, president and CEO of TeraGo Networks. "By leveraging our strength and success in the rest of Canada, we expect to serve a significant number of business customers in the Vancouver market, and our plan is to grow that number exponentially as we expand further in the region," adds Boyd.

"Our highly trained local technicians are ready to deliver tailor-made solutions that will meet the unique regional challenges faced by local businesses," says Patrick Mitchell, sales director at TeraGo's new Annacis Island office. "This technology is ideal for all Vancouver and surrounding area businesses with one or more sites, where the traditional carriers may not provide service," notes Mitchell.

TeraGo Networks is focused on offering West Coast business customers a national alternative to the traditional telecommunication and cable companies through its fixed wireless technology. "Our Vancouver team will work closely with our Network Operations Centre (NOC), staffed with Cisco-certified technicians, allows us to rapidly respond to customer needs 24/7," says Boyd. "We want to help business customers extend their reach and manage risk with diverse carrier solutions."

TeraGo Networks is also focused on establishing a long-lasting relationship with Vancouver area businesses. As a member of the Vancouver Board of Trade and Burnaby Chamber of Commerce, the national carrier is aware and responsive to the growing data communication needs of West Coast businesses.

"We're committed to taking an active role in the local business community, as we have done in our other markets. We look forward to adding more Vancouver employees as our business grows to support the region's economy," says Boyd.
