President & CEO
Mr. Lyons serves as TeraGo’s President and CEO, as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Lyons is responsible for providing overall sales, marketing and operational leadership as well as the execution of TeraGo’s strategic plan to advance TeraGo’s leadership in end-to-end data solutions, including access and data centre services.
Mr. Lyons served as the Chief Operating Officer (2008-2011) and President (2011-2013) of Mobilicity, a wireless telecom carrier he founded serving Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa. Prior to this, Mr. Lyons was Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of XM Satellite Radio Canada, beginning as this venture’s initial employee in 2004 and ending with a public company with $2 billion in market capitalization serving 2.2 million Canadians and driving EBITDA of nearly C$60 million.
From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Lyons was an Associate at Global Trading, Interest Rate and Derivatives of Scotia Capital. His career began in 1999 when he served as the Director of Operations for the Toronto 2008 Olympic Bid Corporation. In 2010, Mr. Lyons was named as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40.
Mr. Lyons has an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) from the University of Western Ontario.
Mr. Prodan serves as TeraGo’s Chief Financial Officer.
From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Prodan served as CFO of Mobilicity, a wireless telecom carrier serving Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa. His role aided in the planning, financing and launch of the then new cellphone business in Canada. From 2005 to 2009, he was Vice President of Finance and CFO of SiriusXM Radio (formerly Sirius Canada), building the business as a member of the initial startup team. Prior to this, he was Director, Planning and Projects at ADP Canada from 2004 to 2005. From 1996 to 2003, he worked at Bell TV (formerly ExpressVu), where he began as Controller and then held Directorships of Financial Planning and Analysis, Finance, and Sales Operations. He holds a Certified Management Accountant, CMA, awarded in 1993 by The Society of Management Accountants of Ontario and earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1991 from Wilfrid Laurier University.
As Chief Operations Officer, Ryan is responsible for managing the Access Network, Data Centres and IT/IS teams and aligning them under one umbrella. He brings over 10 years of experience building growth businesses, both in the Data Centre world and in other highly competitive industries.
Previously, Ryan held the position of Vice President of Operations at Mobilicity and was responsible for designing, implementing and operating the many IT and Network systems required to support Mobilicity¹s business, including OSS/BSS, core network, VAS, transport, roaming, and carrier relations.
Prior to Mobilicity, Ryan was Director of Special Projects & Reporting at XM Satellite Radio Canada where he led the design, build and operations of a Subscriber Management System responsible for radio activation, billing, provisioning and reporting as well as broadcast operations. In addition, Ryan designed and brought to market many new products and services, including streaming XM audio content to wireless phones. He also managed the implementation and operations of factory activated XM Satellite Radio programs with automotive partners including GM, Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infiniti, Hyundai and Porsche.
Ryan received an MBA degree (Dean¹s List, Bregman Scholar), from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Biomedical Engineering degree, with Honours Standing, from the University of Toronto.
Vice President, Marketing
Michael has over 24 years of telecommunications experience, including senior executive experience at Atria Networks, Group Telecom and AT&T Canada. Michael has wide ranging knowledge and expertise in telecommunications marketing and product development, including being involved with the development and launching of Internet services and broadband Ethernet services for the companies he has worked for.
Michael has a MBA Degree (Dean’s Honours List) from Schulich School of Business, York University, and an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Vice President, Sales
Mike Andreola was the Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Atria Networks and was responsible for the acquisition of new customers and increasing the company’s revenues.
Mike brings with him over 25 years of experience within the telecommunications industry and he has led a number of very successful sales organizations. Before joining Atria Networks, Mike was the Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Toronto Hydro Telecom Inc., now known as Cogeco Data Services, where he was responsible for the consolidated sales groups of both Toronto Hydro Telecom and Hydro One Telecom which saw unprecedented sales growth under his direction. Prior to that, he was with GT Group Telecom/360 Networks where he was the Vice President of Carrier Sales and instrumental in increasing revenues.
Mike has extensive sales experience in both the Enterprise and Carrier markets and has held numerous management positions with other telecom companies.
Mike holds degrees in Mass Communications and Psychology from York University.
Vice President, Corporate Development
Jeffrey currently serves as TeraGo’s Vice President of Corporate Development. In this role, Jeffrey identifies, negotiates and executes opportunities relating to acquisitions, strategic partnerships and alliances.
Jeffrey has over 8 years of capital markets experience. Prior to joining TeraGo, Jeffrey was Vice President of Investment Banking at National Bank Financial Inc. covering the Technology, Media, Telecom and Healthcare sectors where he advised numerous clients on several key transactions including mergers and acquisitions and financings.
Jeffrey holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated with distinction.
